Patrick Peterson is Founder/CEO at Ceibaworks where he is an investor and advisor in numerous startups and venture funds. He brings 30 years of operating experience to his portfolio companies, CEOs and board of directors. He is the former CEO, Founder and Chairman of the Board at Agari where he grew the company from its founding through a successful exit in 2021. Previously he served in multiple leadership roles at IronPort Systems including Vice President of Technology and Cisco Fellow after IronPort’s acquisition by Cisco. Throughout his career he has researched numerous cybercrime organizations, uncovering new attacks and developing cybersecurity solutions to combat them.

Patrick leverages his experience as an operator and company builder with early-stage CEOs and boards. He does in-depth work, often walking in the shoes with CEOs. Common focus areas include CEO coaching, landing early customers, (re-)building executive teams, assessing product-market fit, establishing key business systems and, of course, fundraising. He brings to boards a vast business and technology background and is considered a cyber security industry expert and thought leader. He has both bachelor and master degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and holds eight patents.
