Leslie Silverglide is the Co-founder and CEO of MIXT, a fast-casual restaurant chain that serves healthy, sustainably sourced, real food. MIXT believes in a better way of eating, where fresh ingredients are combined in thoughtful ways and food connects the growers, makers, and enjoyers. MIXT began in San Francisco, California in 2005 and now has locations across California, Texas, and Arizona. MIXT has been recognized as one of the nation’s hottest fast-casual concepts and is a Certified B Corporation. From sprout to plate, MIXT actively supports healthy lifestyles, environmental sustainability, and a people-first approach to company culture.
Silverglide was also the Co-founder and CEO of Wello, a fitness technology company that delivers live workouts over two-way video with fitness professionals around the world. In 2014, Weight Watchers International acquired Wello. Silverglide received her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a Master of Science in Biodiversity, Conservation, and Management from the University of Oxford, and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the Johns Hopkins University where she serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Whiting School of Engineering.
