Freddie Martignetti

Founder at Nava Ventures

Growing up in a family business in the Boston area, Freddie gained an appreciation for entrepreneurship at an early age. He earned his undergraduate degree and MBA from Harvard, where he spends time as a mentor and advisor throughout the start-up ecosystem.

Freddie's first job brought him to Wall Street, working on the fixed income trading floor at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital before returning to business school. He began his venture investing career in 2011 upon founding Suffolk Equity Partners, a small private investment firm. Through Suffolk Freddie was fortunate to work with incredible companies such as Warby Parker, FIGS Scrubs, Drizly, Omaze, Grab, RapidSOS, and Parachute. Following five years at Suffolk, Freddie joined Highland Capital Partners where he learned the business of institutional venture, and how to be a true “first-call” partner to founders. While at Highland he worked closely with the teams at Everly Health, Bitwise, and Vecna Robotics among others.

Freddie is also a Co-Founder of Mezcal Rosaluna, one of the fastest growing mezcal brands in the United States. He spent four years coaching football at his high school, Phillips Andover, and loves to work with teams. An avid volunteer, Freddie enjoyed eight years as a Big Brother in Boston. He loves nothing more than helping great people succeed.
